The specifications of this drinking water production plant, build by OTV, required SODIMATE to bring to bear its experience in the design and installation for the storage, metering
and transport of powdered reagents, slurry preparation (water and powdered activated carbon), mixers (sludge and quick lime) and sludge conveyors.

Size : 150 000 m3 / day.
Client : Eau de Paris (S.A.G.E.P.)
One of the largest units in Europe using ultrafiltration by membrane.
The SODIMATE equipments were installed in July 2007 and commissioned in September 2008.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS :
2 sets for sludge liming :
- Discharge and metering of quicklime (Stage 1)
- Sludge mixing and transport (stage 2)
Sludge flow rate at centrifuge output 1 m3/hour
with dry material content of 20 to 25%.
Liming at 30% of dry mtlerial i.e. at a rate of 20 to 100 kg of quicklime/hour
2 lots for activaled carbon:
- Discharge and metering of activated carbon
- Mixing of activated carbon with water
Slurry preparation of 2 x 4000 litres/hour of activated carbon slurry at a concentration of 20 g/l
THE SODIMATE RESPONSE :
For sludge liming :
Package 1 (picture 4): 2 sets, each including:
1 silo arch breaker/metering system, 2 conveyors
and 1 injector, with 17 m length
Package 2 (pictures 1 and 2): 1 set of equipment
including:
2 paddle shaft mixers, 2 sludge conveyors, 1 conveyor on motorized pivot
For activated carbon :
Package 3 (picture 4): 2 sets, certified ATEX 22, each including:
1 silo arch breaker/metering system, 2conveyors
(one vertical of 4.50 m)
Package 4 (picture 3): 2 units, with ATEX 22
certification, each including :
1 wetling unit, 1 x 2000 litre slurry make-up tank
with water supply ancillaries
INSTALLATION ON SITE :
Installation in 2 weeks by 4 people with 1 crane. Commissioning by two people
SODIMATEGUARANTEE:
Parts and labour guarantee for 2 years from commissioning.
